Capgemini Interview Experience-1

Capgemini Interview Experience - Banglore & 23-02-2016

Hi Friends,

I went for Capgemini interview through off campus in Bangalore. On the day I have attended that interview more than 1500 members have come. By seeing that much of crowd everyone will be tense. But the crowd is not a matter you should be confident.

Coming to interview: There are 3 rounds:

1) Written Test.
2) Technical Round.
3) HR Round.

1) Written Test:

In my experience Basic knowledge of Aptitude, Reasoning and Verbal is enough to crack the written. No need to  worry about this because there is no such a depth questions on this. But you should have knowledge on these topics.

In first round out of 1500 people around 500 people got shortlisted.

2) Technical Round:

My first suggestion is you should have good knowledge in any one of the technology (SQL, JAVA, SPRINGS, etc). It's enough to crack this technical round.

- Initially interviewer asks common question tell me about yourself (Self Introduction). After that interviewer asks me like in which technology your good in. I replied SQL.

He asks me about SQL queries like joints, second maximum salary, Group by clause, etc. Topics like Normalization some other easy stuff just basic. After that, he asked questions on the basis of our resume areas of interest like Computer networks, Basic C programming, particularly about project, etc, that's it. If you clear this round 100% you've selected, no need to worry about HR Round.

3) HR Round:

My suggestion is no need to panic be confident answer for everything in confident manner that's enough.

- Initially, HR will ask you the most common question about your Self Introduction, then relocation, etc.

Finally in that 1500 people totally 150 people got short listed. I am one of them. I am sharing my experience to get an idea how to crack the interview easy without panic.

- Especially I like to say thanks to Aspire Systems company because I have attended the interview in that for 3 times but I was rejected but it gives me a lot of knowledge during those interviews. So friends don't ignore the interviews please go for everything each and every interview will give you some experience.

- In every interview I heard like LEAVE FOR THE DAY it was very painful but you can build your confidence for sure. Finally one day I heard like YOUR SELECTED its sounds so good. I Hope everyone will listen to this word  one-day for sure. Don't loss your hope try and try until you success.

ALL THE BEST FOR YOUR BRIGHT FUTURE.

Capgemini Interview Experience - RCCIIT, Kolkata

Myself Ankit Kumar from Dr. B.C Roy Engineering College. I would like to share my experience from 1st round of aptitude to final round i.e interview.

In first round, aptitude and reasoning were of moderate level, so I did that but it consumed my whole time. 16 quant and 16 reasoning that means a total of 32 questions with 50 minutes of time.

My essay topic was also easy and that was:- Education is the most powerful weapon.

There were 26 students who cleared the first round amongst approx 300 students. In that, I was also one of the students. So, it was like a big difference.

After 1st round everyone there was a PPT and thereafter everyone went through technical and HR round. Most of the students were getting only HR questions even in the technical round. But in my case, they asked for my project only, not from C, Java, DBMS which I had mentioned in my resume and few questions related to HR. So it was very easy. The most and important thing which the interviewer want to see is your confidence.

After that in HR round also they asked about my project and HR questions like family details, experience from 1st round to HR, where do you want to see yourself after 1or 2 years, when you will join our company, etc.

So overall it was a very wonderful experience. After 2 days the result was out and 17 students were selected from 26 and I was one of them.

Capgemini Interview Process - 4/10/16

Capgemini came to our college Techno India College Of Technology, Rajarhat (Kolkata) on 4/10/16. It was a pool campus drive for whole Techno India colleges. I sat in the aptitude with a hope again by after rejected by 10 companies.

1) Aptitude round:

-> Cocubes conducted this process.
-> 16 questions from quantitative aptitude.
-> 16 questions from logical reasoning.
-> Total time allotted for combined both 50 minutes.
-> No negative marking but "sectional cutoff is here".

Tips:

1. Make 13 questions from both sections accurate.
2. Many people told they have made all correct but still they were not selected. I made 26 accurate.

2) Essay writing:

-> My topic was online shopping.
-> Word limit 350.
-> Time half an hour.

Tips:

1. Make the essay in around 340 words.
2. Give a space after full stop and also capitalize the next word after full stop.
3. Give a space after comma.
4. Never write any spelling wrong. Double check that.
5. It is main criteria to eliminate.

Result came out of 350 students from our college only 42 were selected.
I too was selected for next round.

3) Technical round: (My stream CSE)

-> 5 panels were there.
-> Panel 2 and 3 were asking HR questions in tech round too (It's luck).
-> My panel was panel 4.

1. Introduction.

2. Asked about my projects.

- What was that about.
- How I hosted the website?
- Why PHP?
- Why bootstrap?
- Any other language through it could have been made?

3. To write two programs.

a) String reversal.
b) To search duplicate characters in a string.

4. Language used for android and IOS?

He was happy and recommended me to HR. But strange thing was that everyone was given a chance to go through HR round.

1) Intro.
2) Why should I hire you?
3) Strength and weakness.
4) Topology and its type?
5) Tell few search engines name.
6) 5 GK questions. I was able to give 2 answer correct.

Tips:

1) Keep smiling.
2) Be confident.
3) Practice all the questions before.

Things needed for placements:-

1) Good communication skills. (Improve by reading newspaper and by youtube tutorials)

2) Good knowledge of C (basic programs), Java (basics), Data Structures (minimum-> sorting and linked lists) and (DBMS or networking or software Engineering).

3) Luck and have faith in god.

Results came 19 out of 42 selected. I am one of them. Sharing this for all you lovely people here.

Remember never lose hope. After each and every failure try to improve yourself. Focus why were you rejected by last company. Remove those errors. Be optimistic and keep working. Be strong after each and every rejection. One day will come when you will be a winner.

Best of Luck friends and brothers.

Capgemini Interview Experience - Kolkata on 3rd, 4th, 5th October 2016

You must read this if you are from streams other that CSE/ECE/IT.

The aptitude test is very easy, even easier than AMCAT. The essay round is what matters. Make sure to brush up your skills, they don't look for the flowery language but basic grammar, format, and points. Practice on MS Word if required.

If you survive the eliminations, you'll be sitting for the technical interview and an HR interview. Now if you are from a college that spends a hell lot of money to bring in companies, you need not worry as much. If not, you are in for the disappointment. Chances are you'll crack the interview easily if they actually ask you proper technical questions. But that probably won't be the case if you're not from the streams mentioned above.

They'll probably ask you HR questions in the technical round, just for formality, because they really do not prefer the other streams. It doesn't matter if you are more talented than the fellows in CS/IT/ECE, chances are you won't make it without luck working in your favour. So be mentally prepared for that. All of this being said, I'd advise you to go through your resume very thoroughly, and be prepared to answer any questions from your training, internship or projects, along with the subjects that interest you.

For us, HR was taken for everyone. If it's a short one, they're likely to reject you. Small advice- brush up your GK if you can.
I'm amused by the sort of bias that this company showed and I personally would never ask anyone to go for Capgemini. Extremely disappointed.

Capgemini Interview Process - 1st and 2nd october, 2016 RCCIIT, Kolkata

I would like to share my experience of capgemini Which happened at RCC Institute of Information Technology on 1st and 2nd October. On the first day of recruitment process, we had a pre-placement presentation which was conducted by Capgemini recruitment team. They gave us some brief description of mission, projects, facilities they provide for employees, etc.

After that, we had the first round that was aptitude and written communication test i.e essay writing.

There are two sections of aptitude paper:

1. Quantitative.
2. Logical Reasoning.

There are 16 questions from each section. The time duration is 50 minutes.
After aptitude test, there was another section that was essay writing where I was given a topic and I had to write on that topic within 300 to 345 words. The time duration was 30 minutes.
Remember the aptitude questions that come are very easy to solve. But make sure that you solve it correctly because the cut off marks is very high. If you clear aptitude there is 80-90% chance to get the job.

After aptitude round, there were two more rounds.

1. Technical.
2. HR.

In technical round, they just ask you the very basic questions. You don't have to study a lot to crack the technical interview. You just need to know the basics of any subject which you are going to put on your resume. And keep one thing in mind that is marks does not matter. Even if you are a backlog candidate then also don't feel sad. Just be confident. When I cracked Capgemini interview I was also a backlog candidate.

In HR round they also asked me some very normal questions like relocation, flexible timing, whether I am ready to sign 2 years of agreement or not etc.

So after clearing aptitude nothing is that much tough. Just you need to be confident. And you all know that confidence is the only key to succeeding.

So, I think it will help you all for your upcoming interview.

All the best.

Capegemini Interview Experience - Vizag 5/10/2016

Recently Capgemini placement drive has taken place in our college. Model of the paper is same as posted by others. The exam is conducted by Cocubes. So, I strongly suggest you do as many problems as possible from this website. The question paper is easy. The major elimination is essay writing. Be aware of all grammar rules and spellings of words. We are given a time of 30 min to write the essay. There is an instruction on my screen saying that essay should contain a min of 300 words so you need to keep up the pace. The technical round is not easy.

Some questions which I remember are from topics,

- Syllogisms 2
- Mensuration  1
- Time and distance 1
- Ratio and proportion 1
- Data interpretation 2
- Reasoning from figures 1
- Data sufficiency 1
- Profit and loss 1
- Numbers 1
- Ages
- Percentages
- Essay topic (Role of media to improve the society)

CapGemini Interview Process - Rajam, 27th Sept, 2016

I would like to share my Interview experience of Capgemini which happened on 27th Sep, 2016. We had some pre-placement talk for almost one hour. Capgemini people who came to the recruitment process and gave some brief information regarding the company, company targets, company mission's, all those things.

Here, mainly 3 rounds are there,

1) Written Round + Essay writing.
2) TR.
3) HR.

Coming to written round, questions were damn easy. Even the normal student can clear this round. All questions were very basic. Some decent practise is more than enough to clear this round. Total 32 questions. 50 min. Quant 16 and reasoning 16.

After you complete round, result of your written test will not come. Directly essay writing box will be open. This was where 90% of my college students were rejected. My essay was Homework in schools should be banned. You have to write 300 to 350 words in 30 min.

Don't worry about quant and reasoning. Very easy. Do worry about essay writing. Remember the basic rules to writing essay and important point is the entire essay should be in one tense. I wrote the entire essay in present tense. If you use more than one tense in your essay writing, make a note that you will not clear this round.

Essay topics also very simple and basic topics like health vs wealth, role of sports in career, Alcohol should be banned like that. Remember the basic rules and do well. If you clear this round, You win 80% of battle.

Results were declared within 15 min and Selected students asked to come for TR at 2:00 clock with all mark lists and certificates and xerox.

In TR: Here also asked very basic questions regarding C. If you are from non-CSE then have s good knowledge on your projects and Paper presentations you have given and whatever you put in your resume. If you are CSE student, they ask C, Java, Database and so many lang. For non-CSE fellows, questions were asked from the resume. So prepares good CV and prepare everything you kept in your resume.

HR round is just for formality. In this round, they used to test your communicational skills, how well you answer the questions. That's it. Capgemini is very easy to crack. Prepare all models of apt which is there on this website and read all HR questions from this site. You will crack the Capgemini. I got rejected in TR

All the best.

Capgemini Interview Process - Jeppiaar engg college/19-9-2016

The aptitude question paper was very simple. I guess they noted accuracy and speed of solving the questions.

The technical interview was very simple with myself explaining my own area of interest.

The question, which I didn't ever expect was 'when will you join us at Capgemini'
I said anytime, that simple.

Also, another one was how long will you work?
I said that engineering was my passion and that I will pursue after it always.

So, I guess that these questions can really help.

ALL THE BEST everyone. I wish you great lives ahead.

Capgemini Interview Experience - Piet, Panipat on 22 September, 2016

Hi everyone,

I am a student of ECE branch and I attended the joint campus drive of Capgemini held at Panipat.

There were 7 colleges, PIET, ABS, KIET, MIT and 3 colleges of Shardha group.

There were 3 rounds:

1) Online Test which includes.
a) Aptitude Test, which was conducted by Cocubes (50 min).
b) Essay writing (30 min).

2) Technical interview:

3) HR interview:

The aptitude test was very easy. There were two sections:

a) Reasoning- 16 questions were there and the main topics were syllogisms, number series, deriving conclusions from paragraph, odd one out, analogy, blood relations etc, but they were very easy.

b) Quantitative aptitude- 16 questions and the topics were percentage, allegations, time and distance, time and work, mensuration, ages, etc, again the questions were easy.

After this, the essay round was also easy. The topics were like Social Media, Facebook, Whatsapp, non-veg should be banned or not, etc.

Divide your essay into paragraphs and take care of the punctuation marks and grammar. Make short and easy sentences because the main focus will be  on your grammar and punctuations and not on your vocab.

There was sectional cut off and no negative marking was there.

This was all about the procedure, but coming to my experience, I would like to tell you all that it was really a bad experience, I answered most of the questions and was confident that they were correct, then also I don't know why I was not selected.

There were around 110 students from my college and out of them only 6 qualified the test. Aptitude test was really easy and many of my friends who were damn confident that they have got all the 32 questions correct were also not selected.

It was really shocking for all of us as it seemed that the test was not evaluated at all as the ones who got selected did not  even attempted all the questions. It was a lucky draw.
Even after insisting a lot the cutoff marks were not revealed which clearly showed that the students were selected randomly and the test was not evaluated at all.

I know that majority of you will not believe this and some of you will even think that it is just the frustration which is coming out as I was not selected. But guys I have actually faced it.
You may ask any student from the colleges mentioned above if you guys have any contact with anyone.

Luck is the only key here.

The interview also seemed to be a formality, only 2-3 questions were asked that too of basic level. The interview was a cake walk.

All I would like to say that it's all about testing your luck as everything was random there.

All the best.

Capgemini Interview Experience - Panipat on 22nd September 2016

Hello guys,

I am a student of ECE branch. I attended the joint campus drive of Capgemini held at PIET, Panipat. It was conducted by COCUBES.

There were 3 rounds:

1) Online written test (50 min of aptitude and 30 min essay writing).
2) Technical interview.
3) HR round.

The written test consists of analytical reasoning and quantitative section. There were 32 questions, 16 from each section with no negative marking. The questions were of basic level. It was damn easy to crack the test. Then comes essay on your screen. Topics of essay were easy like social media, heal earth, heal yourselves, etc.

I was able to answer 28 questions correctly i.e. 14 from each section. In spite of this, i was not selected for 2nd round. I don't know the reason why i am not selected. In written test only 6 students got selected from my college out of students. And these are the ones who have not even attempted all questions  and some are those who were not able to solve even half of the questions correctly. And those who have answered all questions, 32 out of 32, were not selected. I mean, how can this happen. We did not get to know the cut-off even. My experience was very bad. It seems like they were having lucky draw. I know this does not sounds good. But I have a reason to say this. I have experienced it.

Moreover,  interview round was also damn easy. They did not bother to ask much questions. After aptitude, yours chances of selection are 80-90%.

So guys best of luck. Here luck matters more than your preparation.

Capgemini Interview Experience - TechnoIndia, Kolkata, 22/08/16

Hello everyone,

I am Ankita Kedia from Bengal College of Engineering & Technology, Durgapur. I want to share my experience with Capgemini conducted by cocubes. Although I was not selected after the first round but I am sharing this as it was a really bad experience of my own.

Everything was arranged by cocubes and from the very beginning, starting from having mail to the aptitude round they had so much technical issues. First of all, many of our classmate didn't get mail from capgemini though they were enough eligible to appear, only 4 of us got that mail, then on the day of campusing they said that mail is not important and whoever is meeting the eligibility criteria can sit for the test.

After that, at the mean time of test, the images of reasoning questions were not uploaded due to their technical issues and they said us to leave those questions, but the questions were too much easy that anyone can pass in that test. The questions were like average of 5 numbers, percentage of a number, etc. I was confident that I will be selected because all of my answers were correct.

But don't know why I was not selected.

The question pattern was: time- 75 minutes for quant & reasoning + 30 mins for essay.
Logical Reasoning - 16 questions.
Quant - 16 questions.
Essay writing - within 400 characters.

All I can say is this was really easy to crack but you just have to work a little hard.

All the best readers.

Capgemini Interview Experience - Greater Noida, 9&10 April 2016

Capgemini drive was conducted by CoCubes. There were four rounds in it:

1) Shortlisting from coCubes PRE-ASSESS test.
2) Aptitude.
3) GD.
4) Personal interview (Tech+HR).

CoCubes presses were not tough. It can be cleared without any practice. 60 min and 60 ques (20 logical, 20 English and 20 quant).

The second round of aptitude is from Capgemini and it was also conducted by CoCubes. It was not difficult to crack because of low cut off. There were 75 ques (25 quant, 25 logical, 25 English) and tine was 90 min. I don't know the cut-off but I can surely say that it was not greater than 15 in quant. Time management is important here. You can crack English if your vocabulary is good and overall level was average. Quant was difficult as compared to English and logical. So at least practice some questions from R.S. Aggarwal (quant ) before appearing for the test. Logical was easy and the level was same as CoCubes PRE-ASSESS.

In GD don't worry just speak some relevant points confidently even if you are weak in communication skills or English. Try to be a good listener and don't try to stop anybody from speaking. My gd topic was Odd-even system in Delhi. There were some guys in my group who spoke confidently even though their communication skills were not good and still they were shortlisted for next round. Last round will be easy if you are not from CS/IT background. Some very basic questions from your project, OOPS, Data structure will be asked. So prepare them well. Some typical HR questions like your strength, weakness, etc will be asked. My interview duration was off about 30-35 min. And interviewer asked many questions from my project and 3-4 basic questions from data structures.

Best of luck and stay confident!!

My group had 13 members, the topic was really simple "Management skills taught in the classroom are enough or real life experience is more important". The GD went for about 15 mins and about an hour results of my batch were declared 6 out of 13 were selected.

- 3rd round:

There was a single interview Technical + HR.

My interviewer was really very frank. They basically check the confidence and basic knowledge of the core subjects and projects mentioned in the CV.

I have attended through COCUBES and the exam is not so difficult, having good practice in aptitude, logical reasoning and minimal English like synonyms, replacements, passages etc., is enough you don't need to make max out of it just practice before the exam.

Total three rounds:

1. Written.
2. Group discussion.
3. Personal interview (Technical review + Human resource).

For Group discussion, guys you need to be confident those Capgemini. HR's are looking for the most confident guys.

GD: 50% rejection.

We are 13 people we went and sat inside the hall HR was busy in shortlisting the candidates who done their GD previously.

After a couple of mins, he wished good morning and asked us "IS INDIA HAVING A FRIENDLY RELATION WITH PAKISTAN?". Every one said "NO".

HR: Well today this will be your topic for GD.

"HOW TO MAINTAIN FRIENDLY RELATIONSHIP WITH YOUR NEIGHBOURS THE PAKISTAN"

He gave us 2 minutes time and opened it for discussion.

Guys remember they going to check your patience our GD has lasted for 25 mins.

People who gave 3 or more valid points with good fluency and body language have made it for next rounds.

Guys, please try not to interrupt others because a guy made 8 attempts, but in fact he interrupted many guys in the GD and he was rejected.

Totally 6 out of 13 are sent for next round from our panel.

Personal Interview:

ME: May I come in sir?
HR: Please give me 2 mins time.
ME: Ok sir, sure.

I have waited even more than 2 mins and HR came up to the door and called me. I thought it was a bad sign as I made HR to come out of his seat.

ME: Soon after going inside I gave my application with resume and wished him,
"GOOD AFTERNOON SIR"

HR: He looked at his wristwatch and then its 12:15 PM. And he wished me good afternoon, please take your seat, tell me something about yourself. I told him.

He asked about my family, their profession, my siblings details too.

ME: Said that my brother in law is working of CA technologies.

HR: Then why did you come here there is no job in CA?
ME: I briefed him about Capgemini and said I want to make it for Capgemini for those reasons only. (he is satisfied with my answer).

HR: What will you do if you are not selected in this interview?
ME: Explained.

Capgemini Interview Experience - Hyderabad, Dec18, 2015(Referral Drive)

Here is the whole drive experience of Capgemini Referral drive held on 18th Dec, 2015 at Hyderabad.

I cracked this Drive just in 6 days (preparation time).

I have gone through so many interview experiences before appearing to the drive and today I am here with my experience.

As we know Capgemini is one of the best companies in the world and let me tell you one thing, cracking the Capgemini drive is easy if you prepare hard and plan well.

The Capgemini Drive consists of three Rounds.

1) WRITTEN TEST (3 sections).
2) Group Discussion.
3) Interview (TR+HR).

*******  1) WRITTEN TEST  ********

3 Sections:

- VERBAL (English).
- REASONING (Logical).
- APTITUDE (Maths).

The toughness of the test is Moderate to high. Some say aptitude is easy among 3 and some say verbal is easy but remember it totally depends on us. I felt like all the sections were easy, at least for me.

25 questions will be given in each section total of 75 questions. You can go through any section at any point of time and the total time given will be 90 minutes. Sectional cut-off is there, that means you need to cross the individual cut-0ff mark of all three sections. No one knows the exact cut-off mark (they don't reveal). I guess it'll be around 10-12 or high for each section.

The most important thing here to remember is,

*** YOUR ONLY OBJECTIVE IS TO CLEAR THE CUT-OFF MARK ***
                       ***NOT to top the test***

This is probably the best advice I can give you. Please keep this in mind.

Even if you can solve all the questions from a single section, please don't. I think you can crack the test if you solve 15+ questions from each section. So just try to solve 10-15 questions from each section and then go for remaining if you still have time. From this written test I have realized how precious time is. Thanks to Capgemini.

Its very hard to manage the test in 90 minutes unless you prepare yourself to solve a problem in less than a minute.

If you don't know the answer just leave it, and go for the next problem. Negative marking was not there but I didn't wanted to take any chance. So I attempted limited. (not enough time to do all questions though :P)

::: VERBAL ::: (25 questions)

Start the test with Verbal section to save the time. Go through all the questions from top to bottom in your first attempt and answer as many as you can. Remember answer only if you are confident/know and if you don't know the answer just leave and go for next one. I have answered 10-12 questions in my first attempt in 20 minutes. All you find in verbal section are antonyms, synonyms, missing letters, corrections, arranging the given sentences to a paragraph, RC, etc. This section takes less time.

If you have a good command over English language then this sections needs no preparation. Synonyms, antonyms, missing words, sentence correction, arranging of the lines to a paragraph (tricky), Conclusion, 2 RC passages, articles, prepositions and few more topics. Prepare grammar part well. Don't waste time in reading RC's.

overall it's an easy section.

::: ANALYTICAL ::: (25 questions)

Next I moved to analytical reasoning section. Its very time consuming part with Big charts, Graphs, Diagrams and all, it looks complex and may scare you but trust me these are easy to solve, Just a formula or two. You will get at least 2 graphs and 2 charts (min of 4 questions from each graph).

So you can solve more than 10 questions from these and syllogisms are there which you can never miss so this section is very easy with practice (min 4 questions on syllogisms). I solved 10-12 questions in 20 minutes and went to next section.

Few questions on blood relations, coding - decoding, decision making, conclusions, data sufficiency, assumptions and few more topics.

::: APTITUDE ::: xD (25 questions)

Here comes the Aptitude section. I had 45-50 minutes when I started the aptitude section. The first question itself gave me chills xD, LoooL hold on it's just one question for me this section was easiest among three sections (because I am good at APTI :P). Few questions like 4-5 are very easy. Some are tricky and remaining are tough but we can solve. Those 4-5 questions are not actually very easy questions, my preparation made me solve them in 1 step. So it all depends on how you prepare (I guess this says everything).

PREPARATION & TOPICS :-

3 - 4 problems are given on Functions, Logarithms. Simple questions like,

f(x) = something.

f(y) = something.

find f(z) = ?

f(x) = something.

g(x) = something.

find f(g(x)) = ?

Like these simple problems are given in my set, also 2-3 questions on Logarithms. So prepare functions and logs very well.

Next topic to concentrate is Time, Speed, Distance, Work and related Boats, and Trains problems. I guess 5-6 problems are given on TSDW, as well as on trains, boats. Some are easy and some are tough (tricky). Prepare T/W, T/S/D very very well.

Very Few on number systems and volumes. Check the Cocubes questions for exact pattern of the questions.

Some on Percentages, Profit & Loss, Series , Geometry, Volumes, Ages, Averages, etc.

Concentrate more on the above topics.

Over all your time management and sectional attempt should be like this,

Start Like this

(ATTEMPT 1) :p

VERBAL -> 15 - 20 Min -> Solve 10 - 15 or more.

ANALYTICAL -> 15 - 20 Min -> Solve 10 - 15 or more.

APTITUDE -> 15 - 20 Min -> Solve 10 - 15 or more.

And then you will be having 30 - 40 Minutes. Repeat the above process, go for another round.

(ATTEMPT 2) :p

VERBAL -> 5 - 10 Min -> Attempt 5+.

ANALYTICAL -> 5 - 10 Min -> Attempt 5 +.

APTITUDE -> 5 - 10 Min -> Attempt 5 +.

I Solved more than 15 questions from each section. 21 from Verbal, 18 from Aptitude and 17 from Analytical section (2/3 less or more :P )

Trust me friends, I didn't even had time to attempt the remaining questions. I should have attempted all the questions as there is no -ve marking. This is the only mistake I had done.

::: MATERIAL AND BOOKS :::

Lots of people suggested me to go through R.S. Aggarwal, but the standard of the problems in  R.S. Aggarwal is low (ok for Capgemini drive). I prepared from the Book "Fast track Arithmatic" by Rajesh Verma. It's a fantastic book to master aptitude. Lots of formulas and fast track methods for each model. Try to get it if possible, you will surely love it.

Capgemini Written test is conducted by COCUBES. Search for the COCUBES papers and pattern, the same type of questions will be given.

Don't forget to check the COCUBES questions pattern :) It will give an idea of the exact pattern of the questions asked in Written test.

Uffff that was lengthy.

***************************************************

More than 6000 people appeared to the drive from all over india. 600 - 650 people cracked the written test. I was one of them.

Next Round is GD:

***  GROUP DISCUSSION  ***

Before starting written test, you need to enter your basic details like name, marks, email and all.

I entered the wrong Email id and didn't received any confirmation mail after written test. #LOL

So Next day I went to college just to ask whats wrong because I was too confident about the test. They said my mail was bounced back and they called trice (I didn't lifted) and my batch's GD round was completed already.

My batch number was 5 and 20th was running when I arrived college. Luckily they allowed me with the next batch.

Check your details you entered thrice before starting the test. 12 members per batch and total of 50 batches. In my batch 10 of the 12 were Girls.

HR came, wished and gave us the topic. Our topic was "BAN ON DIESEL VEHICLES (pros and cons)"

5 minutes to prepare.

I wanted to start the discussion and the other guy started it, and we had a great discussion for about 30 min.

::: Things to Remember :::

*  Have knowledge on all the recent topics, issues happening around like digital india, make in india, terrorism and all.

*  Check GD videos on Youtube. (IELTS speaking videos will be useful)

*  Learn how to talk, how to initiate, how to Conclude, how not to interrupt, how to even sit, how to listen, body language. These are simple things but these really really matters.

*  It's not necessary to start, but it creates a good impact if you start with a good point.

*  Whatever you talk, it's should be related to the topic.

*  Listen very very carefully, even though you are thinking, just act like you are listening and accepting what others are saying.

*  I Agree with you, I partially agree, I do not agree with you, as our friend said, use these words/phrases, Learn where to use these phrases.

*  What you are speaking is most important, not how much you are speaking, few people in our batch gave only few points and made it to the interview.

*  Try to initialize and conclude only if you have good points to put.

*  Be confident. Try to give that confident kinda look atleast.

*  Give recent examples, always try to explain with examples.

IF YOU CAN SPEAK ENGLISH FLUENTLY WITH CONFIDENCE THEN YOU CAN CRACK THIS ROUND WITHOUT ANY PREPARATION.

If you know nothing about the topic given, wait for others to start discussion, sit back and relax. Listen to every one, you will get an idea about that topic and gather some information from that discussion, add few more words and kill it like a BOSS. I even had no idea about that topic but its general topic so it was easy.

RESULTS WERE ANNOUNCED AFTER 10 MIN, FINALLY I WAS SELECTED TO THE FINAL ROUND ON THE NEXT DAY.

*********  INTERVIEW ***********

300 to 400 Members made it to the final round. Its HR + TR. I was asked to come at 12 PM and my interview started at 4 p.m :(

Certificate verification before the Interview. Just to check % criteria & to make sure you have no gaps in education. Then we are called to the panel room. I was waiting for my turn, fully tensed. HR - Any preferred university?
ME - Told.

HR - Why?
ME - Because of the research work and all. bla bla..

HR - Okay let me give you a program. Print your name in reverse order! This will decide the whole interview.
ME - (Actually I have not prepare python before going to the interview, though I have good knowledge on it). Finally I have written the code and he was very impressed with the way I wrote the code.
ME - Actually it's been 5 years since I compiled my last Python program in PUC. So i don't actually remember everything, but I have tried. (HR interrupted)

HR - No No. I am just checking the logic. It's good Taheer.
ME - Sir, is it correct?

HR - Yes Taheer, But, (Corrected a small error in my code)

HR - (Checking my Resume)

HR - You are from Electronics background and why are you migrating to IT field?

ME - (I have given the best possible answer to this question)

HR - (Checking Resume)

HR - What is 3D Printing? (I mentioned in my resume that I organized/attended the 3D workshop).
ME - Told.

HR - Is there any involvement of Humans being while printing?
ME - Clearly explained about the 3D printing process.

HR - Suppose think you have prepared a Software for me. I found few bugs in it and asked you to rectify them. So how do you identify and correct those errors?
ME - I will check the program from the beginning to the end, I will check the type of the error first.

HR - Still you are not able to find the error, then what will you do?
ME - I will ask my friend to check it for me (with lil laugh ), (Lol I shouldn't have told this)

HR - (Laughed)

HR - After joining in Capgemini if you get a chance to do Masters in US, what would you choose? MS or JOB?
ME - I have already decided to start my professional career here in india. That is why I am here today.

HR - So you won't go for MS? (Don't know why he was stressing on this point)
ME - No sir. (With loud & Confident voice)

HR - Okay Taheer. Do you have anything to ask?
ME - Sir I have gone through the CG Website and I Found the slogan "People matter, results count". What exactly does it means?

HR - (Explained in detail)
ME - While interviewing, what qualities you people (HRs) look for?

HR - ( )

HR - Anything else?
ME - (I gave him a compliment that he is very friendly and cool)

HR - Thank you :)

HR - Okay Taheer. You can leave now.
ME - Thank you sir. Looking Forward to see you again :) Have a nice time.

That's it. He is a cool person, the way he's asking questions was very smooth and friendly.

The whole interview lasted for about 20-30 minutes.

He mainly concentrated on what's there in my RESUME, So guys make you resume short and simple.

Results were announced through mails After 3 days.

I was lucky enough to get placed in my first interview itself. That too in Capgemini. Of course luck matters but hard work always pays - off. Don't give up if you don't succeed in your first attempt.

I would love to help you :).

* All THE BEST *
